Introduced on January 24, 2015, during the 'IA Special Anniversary Livestream' event, Bookmark IA Vocaloid marked a significant milestone in the world of CeVIO and vocaloids. The character was created by 1st PLACE Co., Ltd., a renowned developer and publisher of music technology.

The series also features a gray, multicolored cat named 'チコー' or 'Neko- san', who is one of the spirits that exists on Planet ARIA. HIPPI, an original character by 1st PLACE Co., Ltd., serves as the third installment in the ARIA ON THE PLANETES project.
